The Colt Python is one of the 10 sidearms in SCP rBreach. It is a power secondary, capable of dealing high damage to hostile players.

In Game

The Colt Python is a revolver, which can deal high damage to hostiles. Having a 99% firing accuracy, the Colt Python can be seen as a "Pocket Sniper".
Unlike most of the other weapons in game, the Colt Python can hold very little reserve ammo, meaning the player can only hold up to 30 shots at a given moment. This downside, combined with the fact that secondary ammo boxes are rather limited, means the player must conserve ammo, shooting only when hitting the target is possible.
Its slow rate of fire also makes it less useful in close-range combat, making it more favored for long-ranged combat.

How To Obtain

The Colt Python is relatively hard to find, being a "Tier 2" secondary.

• Security Commanders, FBI Squad Leaders, and GRU-P Commissars have a chance to spawn with the Colt Python as their secondary weapon.
  • The FBI Squad Leader and GRU-P Commissar can only spawn in TDM rounds.
• There is a small chance for the Colt Python will spawn in the Light Containment Zone Armory, and a smaller chance for it to spawn in the Entrance Zone Armory.
• There is a chance for the Colt Python to spawn in 1 of the 5 weapons spawns in Heavy Containment Zone.

Tips

• Conserving ammo is important for the Colt Python, due to it's small reserve ammo capacity.
• While capable in close-range combat, the Colt Python is much better suited for long-ranged combat.
• Upgrade the Colt Python in SCP-914 on the Very Fine setting to get the Unknown Weapon.

• In the real world, the Colt Python is a .357 Magnum caliber revolver first produced in 1955.
• The Colt Python is one of the few weapons capable of being fired while still in its reloading animation.
