"Mankind cannot coexist with the anomalous. Our only means of protecting the human race is through their complete destruction." ― J████ █████, UNGOC Strike Team Commander

The UNGOC (United Nations Global Occult Coalition), or GOC, is a G.O.I. that can spawn in Containment Breach and Team Deathmatch rounds.

Description

The United Nations Global Occult Coalition was created by the United Nations and is an international organization similar to the SCP Foundation. The UNGOC shares views with the SCP Foundation on protecting the human race from anomalies but chooses to outright destroy the anomaly and respect human lives rather than capturing and containing the anomaly and using humans as test subjects like the SCP Foundation.

The GOC have a complicated relationship with the foundation, at times cooperating with them against certain threats and other times criticizing about their practices, such as the use of Class-D.

In-Game

The UNGOC's primary objective in-game is to kill SCPs and anyone associated with them. While they can team with Foundation personnel, this is not required, and they have the option to kill them as well.

The GOC are equipped with the L85A2, which is considered the best GOI weapon in the game. The GOC wear maroon uniform with black garments such shoulder pads, and can wear either a cyan FAST helmet, a cyan MICH-2000 helmet, or a cyan military beret.

The faction is considered by the community as the scariest reinforcement to spawn based on the amount of neutrals it has. Most GOC players are very likely to shoot neutral factions on sight, which has given the GOC the pseudonym "neutral killers".

Strategies

Advantages

  • Has the least amount of hostiles. of any role.
  • Has the most amount of neutrals, allowing for teaming (unlikely).
  • Is equipped with a very superior primary weapon.

Disadvantages

  • Is likely to be fired at, due to their infamous 'neutral-killer' title.

As a neutral

It is recommended that the GOC attempts to team with neutrals when possible, as extra teammates can help against hostile factions and SCPs. However, as a neutral, be wary while trying to approach any member of the GOC as most will shoot on sight a, regardless of if you are neutral or not. Your best chance of survival is just avoiding any GOC operative you see.

  • Class-D: It is very likely that the UNGOC will kill you since you become a Chaos Insurgent if you manage to escape. Instead, treat UNGOC as if it were a hostile, as they will likely act that way towards you.
  • Facility Personnel: If you hear the UNGOC music it is recommended not to go to Gate B; instead, go to Gate A to escape. Try to stay as low profile as possible, but if a UNGOC shoots at you, do not be afraid to fire back.
  • Security Guards: Try to avoid any UNGOC operatives you see if possible. Be more careful around UNGOC, because they tend to be more hostile against Security Guards; usually because of the players being former Class-D.
  • Mobile Task Force: UNGOC operatives are very unlikely to team with you since you spawn with weapons. If you managed to convince them to neutral team, you can easily wipe out hostile factions alongside the UNGOC because they spawn with an L85A2.
  • GRU-P: Like Class-D, it is also pretty uncommon if the UNGOC spares you or not. As a GRU-P, try to befriend the GOC because you don't have many allies. But if they shoot, don't be afraid to return fire.

Overall if you are any Neutral, you are likely to be attacked by UNGOC so attempt to keep your distance from them. Always be ready to fight in case you have to.
The highest recommended method of making peace with the UNGOC is to try to team with one and then get that member to tell their other teammates via radio.

As a hostile

  • The UNGOC's main gun, the L85A2, can be very dangerous and it is considered the strongest G.O.I. weapon by the community. If you kill them, try to pick up their weapon and use it.

Trivia

  • In the revamp, the UNGOC will be hostile to all Foundation Personnel.
  • Like the Serpent's Hand, the UNGOC do not have a ranking system (Trooper, Agent, & Leader).
    • However, the Beret style UNGOC added in the 2023 Update suggest a leader rank.
  • The UNGOC's blue helmets are a reference to the actual United Nations Peacekeeping forces wearing blue helmets.
  • Unlike other reinforcements, the UNGOC has a unique spawn header; when you spawn as a UNGOC it says "You are a member of the U.N.G.O.C.".
  • Despite having NVG Goggles on the FAST helmet design, the goggles do not work and are just for cosmetics.
  • While in theory, the UNGOC has the potential of being extremely powerful as they have the potential to team with multiple neutral factions, they are considered one of the most aggressive factions.
  • In the SCP lore, the UNGOC were also tasked with keeping the peace within different occult organizations, an attribute based off the real life goal of the UN.
  • UNGOC wears GOC Pants and GOC Shirt.
  • Also, in RBreach+ Content Update, UNGOC will have a ranking system (Captain and Trooper)
